Our Visit to Zhenjian and Shanghai

The 2016 Clean Energy Vehicle Charging and Propulsion Technology Conference was recently held in Shanghai from November 26 – 27, giving Maxwell’s Asia sales applications engineering manager, Dr. Yishan Li, the opportunity to present Maxwell Technologies’ ultracapacitor technology to a large audience of academic and industry professionals interested in current energy storage technologies.
Dr. Li, a deputy secretary-general of the technical committee, presented "Maxwell Ultracapacitor Applications in Commercial Vehicles” and participated as a chairperson for an afternoon technical session.
Dr. Li also visited Zhenjiang for a rail conference that focused on utilization of braking energy recuperation in urban metro systems. The conference was hosted by the famous Beijing Jiao Tong University, which is strong in the research and development of China’s railways. Attendees of the conference included system and component suppliers, universities, metro companies from Japan, Beijing, Nanjing, Suzhou, Wuxi, and others. Dr. Li presented on ultracapacitor applications in rail and gave the audience a clear picture of Maxwell’s diverse applications in rail globally.
